In May 2012, we decided to split our new office into two. At the complex, several other offices had previously done something very similar. We arranged meetings and quotes with a few of the other companies that had converted the other offices along with Callum from Ecosse Constructions. We needed two glass panels taking out of a downstairs floor to ceiling window, with a replacement door and window pane to match the existing. This then provided a direct entrance for the office upstairs via the existing staircase. Other work that needed to be done included a small concrete pad outside the door, with an exposed aggregate finish, a batten plasterboard wall to seal off the stair well with a cupboard door to be cut down to achieve this.
Callum achieved all of this and more with minimal fuss and expertise, so much so that the finish is of a very high standard and ‘looks like it was originally built this way.’ We managed to match the new paint and skirting and Callum even touched up a few of the holes in both office walls that the previous owner had left when removing fittings. A great job well done! Having used builders in the past for other projects, Callum was by far the best in communicating, thanks Callum!
